Ministries

We know that sometimes "church" can be boring and really uncomfortable. Sometimes the music or sermon is hard to understand or doesn't make a lot of sense. We strive to make every service enjoyable, relevant and practical.
We seek to provide an environment where people can learn to be open and honest with one another and with God.  This will encourage us to become who God intended us to be. For that to occur, we are committed to providing opportunities for people to find hope, healing, purpose, acceptance, and value through Jesus Christ, with no strings attached. None of us have arrived at a state of spiritual perfection. As a result, we are all on the journey together of growing closer to, and more in love with God.
No matter where you are on your journey - whether you are exploring the possibility of God, a fully devoted follower of Christ, or someplace in the middle - wherever you are, that's okay. We want to be the place where you have the time and space to rediscover God and grow in your relationship with Him. We hope you'll come and join us on a regular basis as we journey together in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We purposely have tried to make Barnard Road Community Church a relevant, safe place to see who God is and to learn how God can fit into your life.
We hope that in your time with us, you will encounter God, as you experience a balance of contemporary music & meaningful hymns, relevant messages, a casual atmosphere and real people who would love to meet you.
 

Services

 The Morning Worship Gathering begins at 10:00.  

Following the Worship Gathering, children are divided by age into Sunday School classes.

 At the same time, adults have an open discussion about the message.

AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children's and youth ministry providing local churches with weekly clubs, programs and training for students in preschool through high school. The goal of AWANA is to reach children and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym AWANA comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

 The AWANA program at Barnard Road Community Church meets at 6:00 pm on Wednesday evenings, from September through May. We have three age groups, which includes children from 3 years old through the 6th grade. Each group spends time learning Bible verses, working in their AWANA handbooks, playing games, and listening to a message from their leader.
